Whatever Happens Tomorrow, At Least I Existed
A Journey of Self Discovery through Self Portraiture

Every human experiences the world in their own way. Through these experiences, we learn and grow, exploring our identities and emotional journeys. Throughout this project, I sought to explore those identities and emotional experiences that I claim for myself and examine how they change. I also wanted to experiment with how to portray those ideas in ways that people can understand and relate to. I did this by creating over twenty artworks, mostly mixed media collage, each with its own emotional message exploring topics such as anxiety, depression, femininity, gender, and sexuality. I forced myself to delve deep into the highs and lows of my life.
Throughout this journey of self-discovery, I was able to gain a better understanding of myself, who I am and who I used to be, as well as who I aspire to be. It is my hope that the audience will be able to interpret the work in their own ways and find inspiration to explore their own changing identities.
